Cold Hard CacheJust a thought. We knew when naming Carnival of the Capitalists that there could be objections to or confusion of the name, being so similar to the original that inspired it. There have allegedly been other "Carnivals," something of which I was completely unaware. MORE...COMMENTSHow about Circus of the Capitalists? I'm pretty sure it will be quite an exhibition! It's good, but if we change the name, I think it would be nice to add "blog" or some form of it in there somewhere. I still say it's going to get picked up the the WSJ, and having blog in the name will give it an identity to distinguish it from other sources of business commentary. I don't have any good ideas right now, though, but I am up for changing it. Maybe Noble Pundit should ask for suggestions when he hosts it next week. I don't like the "carnival" name, but a fun and meaningful replacement title would be difficult to develop. A public brainstorming session may help. ZenPundit suggested the "Wealth of Notions". I sort of like it. Yeah, that's great! I like the title you used for this post. Yeah, it's kind of like a refrigerated safe. I like Cold Hard Cache best too, but not sure it's better for those who know capitalism/business, but not caches, RAM, & edlin. It does have a better caché. Wealth of Notions also has a good acronym - WON. But I wonder if everyone will get the play on words. There are people in this world who haven't heard of Adam Smith. What about Capitalist Cadre? But yeah, the WON thing is good. :) I'm voting for Wealth of Notions. It's catchy and clever. And I think that most people will get the Smith reference. I'll back WoN. |
